Ariana Grande has publicly addressed comments made by Cassandra Peterson, famously known as Elvira, following a reported backstage encounter that didn’t go as expected. In a viral video, Peterson shared her experience of meeting Grande at a Knotts Berry Farm event, where she claimed the pop star declined to take a photo together after bringing a large group of friends and family.

In her recounting, Peterson stated, “She came and she brought 20 guests… I asked if we could take a photo together, and she goes, ‘Nah, I don’t really do that.’” Peterson noted that Grande left before the show began, which left her feeling disappointed about the encounter.

Responding to the comments, Grande took to Peterson’s Instagram post to express her dismay and offer an apology. She explained, “I’m so disheartened to see this. I actually don’t even remember getting the chance to meet you because I had an anxiety attack and, to my memory, left before the rest of my family.” Grande acknowledged her struggles with public situations at that time, stating, “But if I’m misremembering this moment, I sincerely apologize for offending you.”

This heartfelt apology showcases Grande’s understanding of the impact such encounters can have, particularly given her own battles with anxiety in the past. Fans are now rallying around both stars, emphasizing the importance of compassion and understanding in the often chaotic world of celebrity encounters.
